Health Insurance for Small Businesses (1-100) employees

Why go through us?

We realize that as a small business you often do not have the time during business hours to research heath insurance plans.  Many people tell us that they are "just shopping" and that is what we are here for. For the past 25 years we have helped small businesses in California obtain group health coverage that fits your needs and budget. When you contact us,  you will be dealing with a trained professional, not an assistant.

We represent all of the major carriers including, Anthem Blue Cross of CA, Blue Shield of California, Kaiser.

Health Net, United Healthcare, Sutter and Western Health.

Of particular interest to small businesses is the private exchange known as California Choice, which allows the employer to offer plans from multiple carriers while receiving one consolidated bill.  Cal Choice also offers ancillary benefits such as, dental, life, chiropractic, and vision.

Information concerning small group health coverage.

  • One of the main advantages of group plans are that they generally have a wider list of doctors and hospitals. Since the advent of the ACA in 2014, individual plan networks are sometimes 30pct smaller, and in some cases, even smaller.

  • With an employee receiving benefits from a employer sponsored plan, those benefits are not taxed as income.  If the employer simply pays for an employee's individual plan, those benefits are taxed and paid by the employee.
